code

This series explores translation, language and communication. I translated names, both common and proper into Morse Code. Names identify and hold meaning. The aural language of Morse Code, originally developed for top secret use, no longer exists according to the US Government. I merged these two elements inot an encoded visual text in my paintings. I tried to demonstrate the many layers of meaning and connotation that exist in any linguistic exchange.
